Ben is a principal of the firm, research analyst, and portfolio manager specializing in applying comprehensive research analysis to the portfolio management process. Ben has extensive experience performing detailed analytical work on both private and publicly traded securities.
Prior to joining Oarsman Capital in 2004, Ben developed his analytical skills in the private equity market as an analyst with Cedar Creek Partners in Milwaukee, WI and he was a financial advisor with UBS.
Ben is on the Board of Directors of The Lutheran Homes which provides rehabilitation services, skilled nursing, specialized memory care, assisted and independent living, adult day services, and childcare.
Ben holds Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business Administration-Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
